We Made an E-Bike the Vehicle of Choice for Luxury-Loving Urban Commuters

When we started working with Trek, their concern was, “who’s going to pay this much for a bike?” We saw it this way: “Where are the eco-minded folks who are dying to get around the city on a sleek new toy?” 

We found them.

To launch Trek’s Super Commuter+, we played to Trek’s strength and took the media for a ride. With a showroom in the Lower East Side, some fanfare and some party planning, we made it about more than just a bike. We made it an experience people were dying to be a part of.  Top media hopped on the bike and rode around town, over the Manhattan Bridge and back. It was an experience that got people talking (and put the bike on back order). 

The Results:  Wall Street Journal, Robb Report, Playboy, New York Post, Men’s Journal are just some of the media that showed love for the Super Commuter+
